Located in Centre Hall, PA, we have been serving both private and municipal clients since 1980 as Dana R. Boob Surveying & Engineering.  Cur­rently, our firm employs an experi­enced staff including Professional Engineers, Professional Land Survey­ors, Computer Aided Drafting and Design Technicians, Surveying Crews, and Support Services who use the most advanced equipment for data collection, data reduction, and drafting and design systems.

We specialize in surveying, land development projects, subdivisions, stormwater management projects, street and roadway projects, munici­pal engineering services, public water supply, public wastewater collection and treatment systems, and on-lot sewerage services.  We provide complete engineering and design services including necessary plans and specifications, municipal approvals, and required permits.

We perform many types of surveys including boundary retracement, mortgage, topographic, subdivision and land development, ALTA surveys, and construction stakeout.  We also prepare subdivision and land development plans, right-of-way agreements, and deed descriptions.

We work closely with both municipalities and municipal authorities in providing cost-effective public water and wastewater treatment systems, specializing in alternative treatment technologies especially suited for small municipal systems.  We also assist municipalities in upgrading subdivision, land development, zoning, stormwater management, water system, and wastewater system ordinances and provide review services to ensure that the requirements of these ordinances are being fulfilled.

We provide full engineering services on all of our projects.  We perform the initial surveying, the drafting and designing, and specification writing for our projects.  As the design progresses, we obtain the permits from the Department of Environmental Protection, the Department of Transportation, the Susquehanna River Basin Commission, County Conservation Districts, or local Sewage Enforcement as necessary.  Once the project is under construction, we provide construction stakeout and construction inspection services to ensure that the project is built according to the design.  After the construction is complete we provide technical support for the proper operation of the project.  From concept through construction to final operation, we provide a complete service.
